About
Water fascinates me! I integrate the liquid medium into my life in the form of various water sports and it also strongly influences my artistic work. I photograph and film (in the) water, illustrate and visualize water in new ways and create sculptures and paintings that express and reflect my interest in the element. I enjoy reinterpreting what surrounds me and putting it into a humorous context with metaphors and symbolism.
My illustration style is characterized by a combination of traditional and digital techniques. The ability to depict scenes with attention to detail while creating a balanced composition is what makes my work special. Mastering different techniques allows me to adapt to the requirements of different projects. My style is always characterized by my clear and dynamic line work. The combination of interesting shapes, proportions, asymmetries and a harmonious color concept gives my work an appealing aesthetic.
